SCRAPBLASTERS

Scrapblasters are 99% recycled functional art.

Artists John Brink and Brian Westcott scour the waste stream for discarded stereo components, then reanimate them in vintage, everday-items such as vacuums, suitcases, hat boxes, and picnic baskets also found in the waste stream.

The one-of-a-kind creations contain fully powered sub-woofers that are compatible with any Personal Music Player, iPod, tape deck, boom box and best of all - they CRANK!

For more information on obtaining these items, or for showing, please contact Brian Westcott at brian@scrapblasters.com, or John Brink at john@scrapblasters.com.

Visible Mortar-Box Blaster. Vietnam era ammo box that used to contain M1 and M29 shells. Loaded in 75’ probably used in training and never made it to Vietnam. It will be louder than a mortar when we are through with it though … and VISIBLE!
